Board
Vice President South
The NWT Soccer Association is currently seeking a motivated, hard working and creative individual to serve as our VP South. This is a voting position on the board and some of the responsiblilities of this position include bringing forward issues in the southern region to the Board, and helping to inititiate and coordinate programs in the southern region. The duties of an NWTSA board member are more explicitly outlined in the Executive Roles and Resposnsibliities Policy. This is a volunteer position.
Secretary
The NWT Soccer Association is currently seeking an organized individual who would like to contribute to the NWTSA's strategic direction over the next year. This is a voting position on the board and some of the responsibilities include attending regularly scheduled board meetings and taking minutes at all meetings of the Board and the Association. The duties and expectations of an NWTSA board member are more explicitly outlined in the Executive Roles and Resposnsibliities Policy. This is a volunteer position.
Bylaw Committee
At the 2009 Annual General Meeting (AGM), it was decided that the NWTSA would solicit interest to form a committee of individuals (volunteers) to look into recommending revisions to our current Bylaws in time for the 2010 AGM. If you are interested in being a part of this committee to ensure our Bylaws provide the most efficient and sustainable basis for our Association to move forward, please apply before February 1st, 2009.
