Connie Loutit Indoor Tournament

The 2012 Connie Loutit tournament will be held March 16-18, 2012.
The organizing committee is very thankful for Connie's family for allowing us the opportunity to rename the tournament. This tournament started about seven years ago to help youth in the Mackenzie have another opportunity to play soccer. As the tournament growth, teams from Yellowknife and Cambridge Bay started to attend making it one of the largest tournaments in the NWT outside of Super Soccer. The tournament averages about 40 - 50 teams in the various age groups - 12 U, 14 U, 16 U and 19 U.
Connie was always seen at the tournament cheering on the youth from Fort Simpson and always willing to step up and help out when needed.
Last year, the organizing committee realized that there was a demand to have an open category for the Men & ladies. The organizing committee felt that we could give people the opportunity to continue playing this great sport. Because of this success, the tournament organizers are again opening the tournament up to the Open Division.
This year may have teams from Tulita, Cambridge Bay, Carmack, Hay River, Fort Liard, Fort Smith, Yellowknife, Fort Resolution, Nahanni Butte, Whati, Behchoko, Wrigley and Fort Province.
