MACA Summer Sports Camps
Summer students selected by Municipal and Community Affairs (MACA) travel around to various communities throughout the Northwest Territories to provide a variety of instructional sports camps to young athletes. Soccer is one of the sports of focus during these instructional and fun sessions as soccer is one of the most popular sports within the Northwest Territories and continues to grow each year.
The NWT Soccer Association supports these camps as they help to promote physical activity, skill development and instill a passion for the game of soccer. During the summer of 2008-10, the NWT Soccer Association provided soccer balls to each youth athlete who participated in these camps to further promote the love of the game. We sincerely appreciate the time and effort that employees and volunteers focus on our youth and we look forward to partnering with the MACA Summer Sports Camps for years to come.
