 ***All currently registered NWT Soccer Association members in good standing are eligible to participate in any events, tournaments and developmental programs sanctioned by the Association.

Combined Coaching Certification & Player Development Clinics:

  • Each year the Association will provide the resources to host up to six (6) developmental clinics dependent on funding; two in each of its regions; North, Central and South;
  • These clinics will be organized by the respective Vice President of that region with the help of our Sport Consultant or other Board Members as required;
  • It is the responsibility of the Vice Presidents of each region to ensure that clinics are rotated through the communities within their regions so that there is an equal opportunity for development;
  • There is no fee to participate in these clinics but participants must be currently registered members in good standing with the NWT Soccer Association.

Referee Certification Clinics:

  • Each year the Association will provide the resources to host at minimum one referee certification clinic somewhere within the Northwest Territories;
  • For any currently registered members of the NWT Soccer Association in good standing, there will be a fee of $100 to help offset the costs of the clinic.  This one-time fee will also provide the certified referee with a standard NWT Soccer Referee Kit.

High Performance Camps and Programs:

  • Only currently registered members of the NWT Soccer Association in good standing may attend any High-Performance camps funded through the Associations High-Performance Budget;

  • Every camp is specific and may require a Coach's Recommendation or an official NWT Soccer Association invitation to attend;

  • There will be registration fees for these camps to help offset their cost ranging anywhere from $50 - $150 per person depending on the purpose of the camp.
